Make your first sale
Use FreshlyCart POS to add a product, take payment, and complete a sale.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- Create at least one product that is available for sale at the POS location.
- Sign in to FreshlyCart POS as an employee.
- Start a Drawer if FreshlyCart prompts you to do so.
Make the sale
Section titled “Make the sale”- From the POS navigation menu, select Home.
- Select a product from Products. If the product uses quantity-based units, enter the quantity shown by the POS.
- Review the products and total in the sale.
- Select the total at the bottom of the order to open payment.
- Choose one of the payment methods available to your business.
- For cash, enter the amount received.
- Select Complete Order.
- In Confirm Payment, select Proceed.
- Review the payment summary, then close it to return to the selling screen.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”FreshlyCart completes the sale and creates its receipt and payment record. The sale also counts toward the first-sale task in the Back Office onboarding checklist.
