Add and update products in the POS cart

Use the FreshlyCart POS cart to build and correct an active sale before you move to payment.

Add products to the POS cart

1. From the POS navigation menu, select Home.
2. Select a product from Products. Choose the specific variant shown in the catalog when the product has variants.
3. If the product uses a quantity-based unit, set Qty in the product editor and select Save.
4. To add modifiers or a note, select the product line, choose any applicable modifiers, add a Note when needed, and select Save.
5. Repeat for each product in the sale.

For products sold per item, selecting the same product again can increase its quantity in a retail sale. Always review the quantity shown on the sale before payment.

Update or remove a product

1. Select the product line in the active sale.
2. Change Qty, modifiers, discounts, or the Note as needed.
3. Select Save to keep the changes.
4. To remove the product instead, select Delete in the product editor.

FreshlyCart does not accept zero or negative quantities in the product editor. Deleting the line removes it from the active sale before checkout; it does not delete the product from the catalog.
