Hold a sale and reopen it from Open Orders

Save an unfinished sale when you need to serve another customer or pause before payment. FreshlyCart stores the held sale as an open order under Open Orders.

Hold the sale as an open order

1. Add at least one product to the active sale.
2. Review the products, quantities, customer, and discounts you want to keep with the sale.
3. Select Save on the selling screen.

FreshlyCart moves the sale to Open Orders and opens a new sale. The held sale keeps its existing sale details.

Reopen the sale

1. On the selling screen, select the open-orders icon. In the restaurant table view, select Open Orders.
2. In Open Orders, select the sale by its order code and total.
3. Review the reopened sale.
4. Continue editing it or take payment.

This workflow is verified for held sales available in the current POS. Do not rely on it as a cross-device handoff or assume an expiration period.
