Set a low-stock level
Set a low-stock level when you want FreshlyCart to identify products whose total stock has fallen below a chosen threshold. FreshlyCart shows these products in Back Office so you can review what may need replenishment.
Enable the low-stock list
Section titled “Enable the low-stock list”- In FreshlyCart Back Office, go to Settings → General Settings.
- Turn on Low Stock Notification.
- Select Save.
Despite the setting name, this enables the in-product low-stock indicators and dashboard list. It does not establish email, push, or other message delivery.
Set the product’s threshold
Section titled “Set the product’s threshold”- In Back Office, open Management → Inventory → Items for a retail business or Management → Menu → Products for a restaurant business.
- Select the product.
- In Inventory, enter the threshold in Low stock quantity.
- Select Save.
You can also set the threshold while creating a product in FreshlyCart Inventory by entering Inventory Alert Quantity.
Review low-stock products
Section titled “Review low-stock products”Open the Back Office dashboard and review Low Stock Products. A product appears when its combined stock quantity is below its threshold. A quantity equal to the threshold is not treated as low stock.
Use the product’s inventory details to review quantities by location before replenishing stock.
The threshold is a review indicator. It does not stop a sale or change whether the product is available in POS. A zero stock quantity does not by itself hide the product.
